You will need to center the mirror over the vanity, as it is currently to the right. You might want to create some height and eye interest to the right such as a floral arrangement.

Hi there, if you are looking for a less-invasive solution, you could just replace the mirror with a large rectangle one that centers both the light fixture and the sink (I am thinking rectangular of the same style). Take the one you currently have, and use it as an accent piece in another part of your house (it's a win-win!)

Very pretty vanity. I would recommend buying a wider vanity light fixture the width of the vanity. Then buying a wide mirror the same size of the vanity as well. One you place a tall vase with floral in it, it will all balance. :).

Don't bother with floral arrangement unless you are going to have a fresh one there every week, bathrooms are dusty and the last thing you need is dried or silk flowers covered in dust - ugh.

You have lots of options, including filling the existing cavity and doing a dry wall patch. It's a beautiful bathroom and that is actually a very nice vanity, I can see why your husband likes it.

I agree with Bridget. I know you love that oval mirror but It is too small. I would find a larger mirror that will cover the length of the beautiful vanity and then place a small potted white orchid in the corner. Nice job - your bathroom looks beautiful!

Hi there, so I found another option instead if the vase if you have trouble finding something you like. Try the option in the attached pic of purchasing three tall pretty glass jars ( homegoods) and fill them with soaps, loofas and bath salts at varying heights.

I'm really not convinced that light fixture is too small. (Kind of harf to tell in these photos )Once you find a larger mirror it may all balance out better. Think a clean simple brushed nickel rectangle would look nice. I really like the wall color you chose.

Looking at the width of the vanity the light seems to be too small, perhaps a 4 lights would work better..

Hi there! Did you order the medicine cabinet yet? I was thinking a framed or beveled mirror may be better. Unless you really need the storage then the medicine cabinet is the way to go. Going with a larger mirror should make a big difference. Upload some pictures when you update the vanity! :).

Your bathroom is beautiful. Very nicely done. I don't quite understand the idea of fixing the off center mirror by just buying a larger mirror. Sure you can center the larger mirror on the vanity but then you still have the light fixture off center. A wider light fixture does not resolve the problem either because it is still off centre.
To me your 3 options are: move the light fixture and mirror cabinet...or a new wide mirror and move the light... Or try to find a new light fixture that allows you to have the electrical supply off center, combined with a new wider mirror.

I agree with replacing the mirror with a rectangle. If you want a silver frame, I would try to match the faucet finish. I would also suggest a more contemporary frame....much more simplified.

I would also replace the light fixture with something that is as wide as the mirror and that also is more contemporary.

Down the road, I would also suggest changing the faucet to a more modern design. The tile accent, vanity and sink have a modern vide and this faucet is traditional.

I just came across this and really need help. I have a 7 ft vanity, custom made with one shallow sink 20 inches wide that is placed on the right most edge (3 inches from the edge to be exact). I have 2 lighted mirrors 24 inches wide by 36 tall. Do I place one directly over the sink and then the other on the left side of the 7ft (3 inches from the edge) thus leaving a huge blank space in the middle? or center them over the 7 ft? Please help!
