this settee was reupholstered, received new webbing, frame was reinforced and retouched.

    Love it! I found one of these and had it reupholstered. They are extremely comfortable. And I love how they can have "formal" lines, but take "not-so-formal" fabric and still look great! You did well!!!!!!

    I have the same one at the foot of a four poster bed...have had it reupholstered twice over the past 15 years...solid, useful piece of furniture.

    I want to find a vintage sofa & do the same. I have a 7yo Bassett sofa & it started sagging within 2 years of buying it! I live alone, I'm about 110 lbs & I'm the only one who really uses it. Cost me something like $900 in '07

    I hate new furniture...it's simply crap!
