What did you decide on?

You have quite a busy looking countertop (ie. lots of detail in it) so I would pick one of the tones from the counter and find a tile in that tone to compliment. Whether you go darker or lighter will also depend on what the neighbouring floor colour is and how much natural light there is.

These are the two we're deciding between. Yes, a lot going on in our countertops so we needed something w little variation.

I like the darker one a little more than the lighter one. Both would look great, though.

I would go with the darker of the two.

It's all a matter of opinion........I prefer the lighter of the two, but it's really up to you to decide. Why don't you get a few more samples and live with them on the floor for a few days to see which one you prefer...........

Also, figure out which one is going to show less dirt.....

Oh believe me I showing you the end of a very long process!! We started w really dark gray and have now had over 20 samples on our floor at different times, in different light, against our hardwood floors, etc. it has finally come down to these two!
