With the other white, beige, taupe colors, I would think black would be too harsh a color for a bathroom mirror, since it will really stand out and draw your eye. Because you would be highlighting a frame, I'm not sure that is where you want the focus of your room. Perhaps if you want black accents, introduce this in trim on towels or monograms on them. With the other neutral colors in the room, I think it is a great backdrop for any accent color you would want to use for textiles, such as green, deep pink or red, rust, etc. Given how small a bathroom is, I would think you should use another white mirror and then begin to accent the room with color in accessories and textiles.

Thanks. I was not really trying to add black. I had just read that somewhere and before I went out and bought one, wanted to check with those who know such things. I agree with you. I like your suggestion on accent colors also. Thanks for such a quick response!
