We are currently building a new home. I have a 5' section in the kitchen that is separated from the rest. I would like to put a coffee bar there. We did not have drainage put into the slab for that area so we can't install a sink but it is only a few feet away from the kitchen sink.

My question is... what kinds of coffee appliances should we get. I would like to buy them now so I know sizes and specs before we have the cabinets installed and in case we need water lines. Has anyone got experience with coffeemakers that use a direct waterline? Any opinions about types of coffee or any other supplies for a coffee bar?
