Handmade Maple Table

Any thoughts on this handmade maple table? I built it for my wife from an old tree. The tree fell on my in-law's property where my wife grew up. Design and construction took about 3 months from logs to table. The finish is hand rubbed Danish Oil and Beeswax. Yes, the rug is too small! :)

I forgot to comment earlier on the table you made. Excellent work! That is quite an undertaking and with a gorgeous outcome. Give yourself a pat on the back. (Good thing you made a point of saying the rug was too small, all kinds of comments would have been brought up!)

Oh my god I love it. I recently watched an episode on HGTV of the property brothers and they reused wood from a 100+ old home. They made a fabulous dining table for the home owners. I think anyone who can reuse or create furniture by hand gets an A+ in my book. Excellent work.
