I found this picture on google, it looks almost like my house (same or similar colors) I want to put this couch in place of my old white couch. Can anyone give me there opinion on if it would look good?

P.s I have two big area rugs to choose from.....White or gray.

I think that the room is great, you need a stronger color on the walls. I can't really see if you are shooting towards brown or grey? I love the new "grieges" they are a bit of both

The grey is ok but makes the room very neutral . If you could afford a different rug with white and a rich colour - emerald, orange or ruby red chevron pattern would look fantastic against the grey.

Grey will look out of place against the floor and the rug. Is there any other color options?

I think the gray couch could look fantastic with another neutral rug and accented with bright colored accessories... The problem with a patterned rug is that you could get bored of it and it's more expensive to change out

It's very contemporary is that look you want? It also does not look comfortable. Have you sat on it? All of this will come into play. In your post pic, I like the print area rug. Add a rug with a print for more interest. If all furn is solid.

This isn't her room. Just a pic she found. Her rooms look something like this. Roseyrose. You should show a pic of your room for more help.

Without seeing your space, all answers are pretty irrelevant. Comment here and attach images.
