So great! How thick are the backsplash and counters?

I am worried my slide in wont go flush to the cabinets with a slab backsplash... did you have any problems? Any advice?

    the slab stone was 3/4". we did not flush the stove with the cabinet front, but rather the counter edge, which overhung the cabinet face about 3/4". if you have a different aesthetic in mind for alignment, you can simply customize the counter depth and pull the cabinets from the wall a bit further (or fabricate them deeper).
