I usually go to the Houzz search bar for photos at the top of your screen and type in something like "beige tone color palettes" and it comes up with some great ideas - you could use a more detailed search and include "beige tone exterior paint and trim color palettes".

I've been to Israel twice on business, love your country and countrymen/women!

When I think of Israel, I see warm desert colors of sand and stone contrasted with the rich blue of the Mediterranean, the deep green of the cypress and pines, and the silver sage color of the olive trees. I think you're on the right track with a layered palette of off-whites, creams, soft browns and taupe, adding a splash of colors from nature and the vibrant spice tones from the souk. In particular, the color of the Mediterranean on the Israel coast is like no where else ... you must capture that somewhere in your design (e.g. front door, market umbrella, shutters, ceramic pots, bathroom tile, or ...?).

You have so many interesting architectural styles there, I especially enjoyed the Bauhaus neighborhoods in Tel Aviv. Can you find an inspiration picture(s), post it here and then we can help you narrow down to a specific set of colors?

I'm from Israel and we do not have the Benjamin Moore. How do I know the exact shade here in Israel?

Go to the best paint store in town and ask them to research the exact formula. With internet access, that shouldn't be a problem. Show them the link posted above. A knowledgeable paint professional should be able to create a match using equivalent paints there locally.

To be more exact, you could also purchase a pint (small quantity) of paint from the Benjamin Moore website and ship it to Israel (not sure if there are international laws governing shipment of paint...?), then have your paint store do a computer match to it. Another idea would be to contact a local designer or architect to help you match it.

I was trying to attach these colors that work well with BM Clay Beige. When you look for stone, try to find material in this palette.

trebinje! thanks for the suggestion regarding paint pro's color formula. i had no idea that this could be done? Aren't there patent's on various paint company's colors? I love benjamin moore paints, & am sad that they are not available in australia! Thanks for the tip…
