I will be using a dark brown wood scraped 'tile' and currently have the builder grade oak cabinets. I can't afford to replace the cabinets and am looking at refinishing them. What color would be best as I have a small to medium size room with one natural light source. I do not want to go with white. I am thinking of using a 'gel' stain. Any thoughts or suggestions to which one is best and a color would be helpful.
