We are downsizing into a new house we are building and the dining room is only 12 x 10. I have a hutch that sits on the long wall but the placement of the table sits too close to the hutch if I center it under a center mounted chandelier. If I can off center the chandelier by two feet the symmetry of the placement will be perfect. What do design people say about this idea
