Need help with my dining table

I currently have this American Drew Dining Room furniture. I am building a new home wo a formal dining room. Any suggestions as so what kind of rectangle table I can get and still use my chairs?

Hmmm what about this Houzzers? A mahogany or walnut top with the antique white base? Or a rustic type finish that complements but doesn't match? I like the Restoration Hardware table finish if you can find in a oval or rectangular. I like the double pedestal table but it looks like seating for 8+. The first photo shows a darker top than the base, but I was thinking a little darker yet.

Here you go... If not this American Drew, which has the double pedestal, then look for one with the same curved Queen Anne legs as your chairs. If you want to paint it the same color, you might check for something second hand with either the QA style legs or a double pedestal like this.

HI - I think a mahogany deco style central base table with extension leaves will give you more leg room and has a simple elegance . You could also add a long deco style console cabinet that is not a match to the table for interest . The top china cabinets are not in fashion now .

Is it o.k. to have a table that the finish is different?

Will you using four chairs? Will you be adding chairs to the new table?

Yes, it's okay to mix finishes. Can you just purchase a new glass top that is rectangular? If you using just the four chairs, I think the base can handle a bit larger top.

love this set...if you're changing it up to a wood finish either mix the two finishes or have your chairs re-finished. Love them.
