It is just beautiful! How did you install the wood fence on the existing wall?

The contractors installed a timber frame which was secured to the wall. Specific fixings are available which can be used for this. This gave a solid frame for the trellis to be fixed to. The timber is cedar. Thank you for your comment. It was a dark dingy space before which is level to the basement.
