Hi thanks for the question. The lacquered cabinets are from IKEA, the lighter cabinets (in foreground) are custom designed and fabricated cabinets in stained oak. We think the mix and match works well and helped the owners stay within budget.

What is the tile you used here it looks like mother of pearl?

It is a glass tile called "vision glass" by Stone Source. It does have a mother of pearl look as it has a beautiful iridescent finish.
