Check out vintagetub.com if you are going for a classic look, and ehow.com for pros and cons of "acrylic v. cast iron tubs." Cost and upkeep are the primary considerations. We are going with a cast iron pedestal tub for our new master bath...although slightly more expensive, I wanted authentic, long lasting, and lower upkeep...cast iron retains heat better and is harder to scratch. At least that's what I'm reading...
