New construction home: I've been reading that picking paint colors should be last after room in decorated but with a new construction home I have to pick my color before. We have an open floor plan with loft and cathedral ceilings. great room faces south with wall of windows from ground floor up to ceiling. Floors are piano finish cherry laminate and kitchen is tile with browns and greys. It is Home Depots Grand Cayman Oyster square tiles. I think Olympic Slate Pebble looked great with tile and flooring but several people think it is a soft violet not grey. What colors can I use in the room to bring out the greys rather than violets? I was planning on using the color on all of the walls except the master bedroom. Should I choose a different color?
