Hi there - the tile is a slate multi-color sheets with random sizes and random depth. We purchased it through Virginia Tile. The cabinetry is locally built custom white paint with a pewter colored glaze. The island is cherry with a stained finish. In order to achieve the same look in your kitchen, you would need to hire a contractor (like us) in your area that specializes in kitchen design and provides all services involved with the renovation. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sadly, I'm in deep south Louisiana so not local to you. My dad and my husband built our home, so I know most of the materials, suppliers, and paint colors used. Some of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were made from MDF, which did not hold up well in the kitchen, especially near the sink and dishwasher. The formica countertops are cracking and becoming discolored. But I LOVE the blue walls in my kitchen, and wanted to find a backsplash that worked with them and the white cabinets. Your kitchen design is GORGEOUS. It is a wonderful inspiration, and while I won't end up with exactly what you've accomplished I have a much better direction to guide me. Thanks again!
