My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Because it doesn't have a cabinet built around it.

      It needed a counter depth refrigerator this is a classic mistake of buying the wrong appliance for the location

      No, the problem is that the cabinet maker should have framed that in. It's been like that for 19 years and I'm surely not losing sleep over it.

      Shame on the designer for not putting in a cabinet around the refrigerator and recommending a counter depth frig. All is lost with that mistake.

      Sorry there was no designer on our home, but us. It was built by us and at that time counter depth fridges weren't all that big of a deal. We don't even think about it. Sorry it bothers others so much.

      Btw- our "award winning" builder built ours this same exact way. It was the way it was done - all is not lost. The world is still spinning, and I bet the sun will still come up this morning.
