I have an open concept main floor. The kitchen is off the living area with a light glass and stone linear backsplash. We are going to rock the fireplace wall across from it, and my husband has fallen in love with a dark slate rock. It is cut in long linear lines, but is rust and gray and black. Several people have said they think it's fine, but I'm a bit leery about it. Any thoughts, anyone?
