I have a kitchen and a great room only separated by a see through fireplace. The ceilings are vaulted, granite counter tops, and a stranded bamboo floor throughout. I love the way the kitchen and great room turned out, but it sounds like I am in a cave! If i put a bowl on the counter it echos. Even talking sounds like I am echoing. What can I do to eliminate or at least diminish the cave like experience?
