Folks, I'm not the one who posted the question, but I do live in Southern California where we have practically nothing but Spanish style homes. I don't believe that is stucco. That is a much more expensive process called gypsum veneer or Plaster. It is much smoother and on the more expensive homes. The color would be white. It is actually more durable than stucco (which is what is on our home). I hate the stucco because it cracks and is rough. Our neighbor across the street who lives in a million dollar Spanish home has plaster on their exterior AND interior. It's gorgeous... and expensive! The photo below is our house. If an earthquake ever knocks it down, I want to rebuild it using exterior plaster as the finish.
