My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What company did you use to create the theatre room?

    I designed the room myself (with ideas from Houzz). I did the framing, and rough flooring including sound proofing and bass traps. I contracted a local renovator to do the drywall. The theatre sound and video set up as well as the Control 4 Automation were by Niagara Theatre Solutions. Carpeting by My Floors in Burlington Ontario. I did the doors, woodwork, lighting and paint finishes

    I installed Control4 throughout the theater to control the AV system and lighting. I have since added it to outdoor lighting and this year will be installing it on the climate control system. It works very well and is very customizable. It has a great iPhone app to control it also. It is not the least expensive option but I think once there are more competitors on the market, the yearly licensing fee will decrease.
