Need help to calm my living room down

Currently my liviing room wall is painted a brightish Orange with white couch and brown/tan drapes. It is a fun room and I loved it when we first moved there, however, 3 kids later I'm looking for something much more calming and do not have a ton of money to spend. Any ideas on wall colors to make it more calming and relaxing?

Use an aqua blue or a neutral wall with orange and aqua pops color. It will still be fun and let you use your orange, but in a much more calm and understated way.

Green and Blue are both very calming colors. I would suggest trying a rug out first to see how you like the colors. Here are a few suggestions:
