Ok, whomever originally decided that dining tables should be made out of wood clearly did not have little kids. I am in desperate need of a new dining table, but am certain that anything made out of wood would get ruined by my two darling children; spillage happens on a daily basis, and in the chaos of life, I can never clean it up as quickly as I'd like The few granite tables I've seen don't appeal to me (mostly too modern), and I'd love for it to be expandable because I usually have to host for the holidays. I thought zinc might be cool, but hubby was not in love with the idea. Your suggestions would be most welcomed!
