Shutters and Roof

Hi! This home is beautiful. Can you please tell me the color of the stain on the shutters and the type and color of the roof? Thanks in advance!

    Hi, we are 100% positive we used Tamko Heritage Series in Black, but the picture with the sun on the roof does make it look more like Rustic Slate. I have attached another picture in different lighting. Good luck! Mary

      Thank you! The roof is Tamko Heritage Series in Black and the shutters are western red cedar with a 50/50 mix of Provincial & Cherry Minwax stain.

      I am trying to pick out shingles for my house. You stated that the shingles are Tamko Black, but the picture looks more like Rustic Slate. Are you sure of the color of the shingles? Thanks so much.

      Oh, I see now. Yes, that definitely looks darker. It looks nice that way. ;) I'm trying to decide between Rustic Slate and Weathered Wood. It shouldn't be this difficult, but it is. People keep asking me, do you really notice roof colors. My answer is yes! lol!

      I agree! We use Weathered Wood and Rustic Slate a lot too and they are all very nice!

      robinbird: Which color did you decide on? I'm considering the same two. It seems that the Rustic Slate has a slight purple tint to it...did you see that or am I imagining it like my husband says?
