Different brands use different installation methods and may have different requirements for the framing, subfloor, sloped bed, waterproofing methods and plumbing which can affect the final floor height as well as the amount of water flow they can handle. This is especially important in a curbless or barrier-free shower. Your client's situation will determine which brands would work. They are also sized differently. You should have the linear drain available before the final size of the space is determined so the installation details (technical and aesthetic) can be planned with the shower installer and plumber.
