My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Love the room in general - it has great light! Is the fireplace custom built? How did you get the color fire bricks? I assume it is a gas fireplace? Thanks!

    The manufacturer of the fireplace provided options for the fire brick. We used an Isokern prefabricated fireplace box and filled around it with stone. We love to use Isokern as it finishes out looking like a masonry built fireplace.

      Dunn Edwards' Inside Passage. They do not have this color in production but you can have them mix it for you.

      Yes the doors and the beams match. The color is a walnut brown.

      We are assuming you used Earthcore Firebricks and picked 4 plus colors to create that herringbone pattern and color scheme to emulate the antique multicolor look of the interior . Can you tell us the colors specifically selected and did Eathrcore directly lay out that color pattern or did you just keep adjusting until you reached your desire affect. We are building two fireplaces, one that's vented and one that is not using Isokern boxes, and would love to find out how you did yours! Absolutely stunning! Thanks in advance.Guy & Lisa - Florida
