My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The stone in this picture was purchased by my mason directly from a quarry in eastern Oregon. Unfortunately he is not forthcoming with his source. Look up Brown Bros. Masonry on Houzz . Shawn will be able to tell you more specifics about the type of stone. I believe it is a Basalt.

    Since we made a great team on this project, I love that you provide your knowledge to the discussions just as you did with the question regarding the actual porch addition!
