We have a four level back split. The middle two floors are basically open from the front door (diningroom) through the kitchen and down a few steps to the rec-room. We are looking for a colour scheme that we could use front to back. There are no walls to divide colours so I'm thinking of possibly one neutral colour with splashes of colour that could work as accents (we have red curtains). The diningroom would be formal. The rec room has a large brown sectional. light maple cupboards in the kitchen. We would like it brighter as the sun only goes across the back of the house. Any suggestions?
