The wall is only decorated on the bottom half, if your ceilings were 2' lower it would look fine. I like your idea about adding the framed mirrors above TV. If you want to see how many and how they would look, simply cut the exact shapes out of paper and tape them to the wall where you think they may go. Rearrange as needed til it looks good to you. Then hang the mirrors.

The little touches you have planned sound perfect, but then I would stop. It would be toooo much and take away from viewing the tv.

Your room looks very nice! I really like your curtains and pillows, everything is tying together wonderfully!

I think I would leave the white candles ... maybe add a beautiful, elongated teal dish or other teal decor on top of the media console and group the 3 silver objects together on an end table.

I would stay away from a colored accent wall; it's a little played out unless it's your bedroom and it's behind your headboard. I second Dytecture; the wall is fine now. You can accessorize the top of the sideboard a little more with a teal vase and maybe a sculptural elements like a metal or crystal animal.

I would wallpaper the wall, here are a few inspiration images.
A subtle texture can go a long way if you don't want to commit to a color.
A large scale print can feel like artwork.... just a thought.

Put a tall ficus tree in the corner.

I agree with Nancy -- a tall tree or even a tall vase in the corner would help alleviate the feeling that the wall needs more. The corner needs something to complete the grouping. I think the wall appears vacant because the TV screen is smaller than both the sconces and the credenza. It looks overpowered by the elements around it, which is why you feel like you need to add something above it to balance that out. I think a bigger TV screen would have created the balance you're looking for on this wall.

We are getting a bigger tv....its great to know this will help! Also have considered a plant. I am considering an 8ft. banana tree from RH. Should I put one on each side? I love the idea of the wallpaper w/o color. It's beautiful! Also love the idea to move the vases and add an elongated teal tray. All the ideas are so awesome! Hi cindy -- glad to hear you're getting a bigger TV and a large plant for the corner space by the window. Yes, one plant by the widow only, but I don't know anything about banana trees!

Once you balance the TV evenly on all four sides between the sconces, I think you'll find that space feels right. Adding some accents to the credenza, as Cristina suggested, would make it feel more complete. I would add some color, particularly teal, to tie the credenza in with the other teal accents in the room. Here's a couple more ideas for you to consider.

Try putting tv to right th larger one will look great than. Sconces together on left at staggered heights. When's you get large tv try painting a frame border 4 inches wider from edge of console to height. + 6 inches in the teal

you need to complement the furniture with the canopy furniture on top, and let that house a TV, and those lights/Mirrors by the side of the TV.

I think what you have looks awesome. I agree with abbyjean I would do the next few touches you outlined but not much else. Maybe just a tall house plant (tree) in a print yellow ceramic planter (how do you feel about yellow). This will draw the eye up and give your space softness without straying away from your design aesthetic.

I agree with Sudheer Fernandes's idea of a singular canopy/shelf complimenting the furniture piece below the t.v. To add more mirrored or other individual elements around a flat screen, feels like one is either trying to hide or blend in the set to a decor. It's a t.v. and SF's idea incorporates the function. Another idea might be to add a modern molding to the ceiling/wall edge. The sconces are beautiful! :)

The wall looks very nice the way it is. Negative space is a "good" thing to have. You have a nice balanced look right now, if you start to add more "stuff" then it will become cluttered looking.

The canopy, will be ply/board wood, and laminates with veneer (on outside surface), polish veneer to enhance its character. Have the inner/below surface with white mica-lamination. Having done this, at its lower-inner surface (white side), let that hold 2 drop lights at its corner (not above the TV) .. and on top of the canopy .. run a RGB LED Strips .. this should have a serial controller to changes RGB color every 5 seconds.
Believe me, you will have a beautiful night life .. and equally bright day to set.

id would wallpaper that one wall in a small /medium stripe to bring the eye up and to level the height of the drapes

It looks great. If you add crown molding to the ceiling I think it would add on to the elegance of your look.

Mark has made an excellent point. A larger TV will fill the space, so adding additional elements is likely to create an imbalance that could result in a cluttered look. Crown molding around the edges by the ceiling would enhance the room's beauty, as dreamingofdesigns has suggested and perhaps this would give you the feeling that the room is complete.
