I love the rustic beams on the stable door, and it looks so contrasting against the clean lines of mid century chair, I'm a great fan of anything that is made of rustic unpainted wood, and it's so easy to create understated period look with ths kind of furniture, like this 19th Century Oak Pembroke Table:
