Help! We want to install a honey onyx countertop on our kitchen island. Approx 4 x 8 in size, no cutouts. The onxy supplier is strongly cautioning us against using onyx in this application. Even when sealed it stains, scratches, etc. Can't find any info anywhere about whether we can use glass to protect it. Seems like a simple fix but I'm suspicious because we can't find that as a solution.
