This isn't what you asked and may therefore be totally unhelpful but have you considered standing seamed metal roofing (grey, ideally)? I can't help thinking that would give this house a little extra visual punch - pull it closer to a kind of stripped down modern cottage/vernacular look that I personally love - especially paired with that pretty blue color.
