Need help sprucing up living room!

Hi I Need some help with adding finishing touches to my living room and I'm on a budget. Living room Seems very sparse looking to get a area rug, painting or Chrome mirror above the Loveseat (sofas are dark chocolate leather) and some more accent pillows. Ideas on if furniture should be rearranged are welcome. I'm currently renting so the floor and walls cannot be renovated. Thank you for all you're suggestions.

Colour scheme is Grey, purple tones but I'm open to suggestions.

Yes, you need a rug. But before you purchase one, I think your furniture needs to be repositioned. I see one chair, one sofa, one love seat and a four cubed ottoman. Is there another chair?

It is hard to get the feel of the room from your pictures, but the furniture needs to come toward the camera.

The sofa may look better on the solid wall where the love seat is now. Could you move it there and then some more pictures?

Move the sofa where the love seat is,take the glass off of the ottomans

You have 2 sofas and a coffee table of black leather in rather small space. If you can't change coffee table I wold recommend cow skin rag ($200 on amazon, makes the whole lot difference ), btw laminate floors are very reasonable priced these days.

Thank you all for you're responses. Judy- I only have the one chair as an accent, I took a new picture where I put the chair facing forward if that looks better? The coffee table is a glass top and comes with the ottomans so I can't remove the glass, but I did remove the cubed ottomans maybe that would look better if I got a cow skin rug or shag rug underneath it.

Tried putting table on slant to add some contrast not sure if it looks better before?

you have some lovely pieces here, but I think it's lacking a pop of color. The eggplant purple pillow is too close to the chocolate in hue. Go for something warmer to offset the cool colors you have going on. Perhaps a warm green paired with the creamy grey in the slipper chair. Or a warm yellow?
