what a boring bedroom?

SO, I just made 3 meter wardrobe and I don't like it. Firstly because I feel the color doesn't suit to floors secondly because it looks so boring with this one even color (I thought it will make it not so noticeable in the room) One more thing: How could I make these grey lines of wardrobe somewhere else in the room so it could seem some kind of relation with a room
Also, the lightning is not right for me and I want some kind of long line of lights that goes from the doors to mirror in front of the wardrobe.
Next to the wardrobe is a poor mirror it looks really sad there...
Okay, and I am looking for a new bed (dark or not is my main dilemma). Do you have any ideas to make this wall with bed and mirror looking better (no hanging things above). But I have this nice small corner (should I put some chair and a table or what?) DO you guys think I need curtains here or not?

I would paint the room a deep gray...all the warm colors of paint, doors and floors are what's jarring to the eyes. The mirror looks out of place because the wardrobe and door moldings are the same height...mirror should be the same height and trimmed in dark wood frame...then coordinate bed legs and/or headboard with that wood color. Finally, too many straight lines currently....switch out the light for something round and fun like this le klint.

You could paint the room grey. You did a great job on the wardrobe.

As far as the wardrobe, if you want you could buy a wall mural that are not that expensive and put it on the doors. See picture below. Hover arrow over it to enlarge.

The color on the wardrobe goes well with the wall. If you have not already bought curtains, maybe you could drapes/curtains with some gray in them as well as bedding. Sleigh beds look nice but they are big. A rug would be nice to walk on barefoot. The rug could also have gray in it.

Hi guys. Thanks, I liked all the comments. hatetoshop and dclostboy: I like the idea of grey. dclostboy - never thought of too many warm colors, this is so true! Mark this is very cool what you did, but do you mean that I should paint grey stripes to white??? Could you make something with dark color, please? newman1958- grey accents - this a good idea! DO you think of long curtains? But when you say grey bedding do you imagine the bed dark or light? So I guess I need a rug which is round and that would suit with round lamp? dclostboy - I like that you notice many things I didn't, very good advice!

Once you decide your color scheme, bedding etc, you can change the look of your closet doors to coordinate. This company makes adhesive in just about any color, pattern and wood grain that you can think of.

Since all your inspiration rooms are greige, I painted yours greige, too. Then I stained the wardrobe doors deep espresso, added some over cabinet lighting for a bit of drama, and a rust and cream pillow for accent.

I would lower the ceiling above the wardrobe. First thing absolute.
