Nice, but the rug looks too small.

@dclostboy I know, but this is what I can afford on a quality modern rug, we are planing in get a love seat in the future, and re-arrange the space to make it work better.

What curtain do you think I should get. Thinking off white? or a plain color, yellow, soft blue? And what color pillow for the couch? should I keep the yellow-blue pattern in color or go with warm colors?

If you want to rearrange so the space will work better, a loveseat is not the best option. I'd advise a new sofa, or even a flexible sectional whose chaise will reverse from right to left. That will optimize your possibilities. Meanwhile, remove the vertical blinds and instead use fabric or fiber roman shades inside mounted four stationary drapery panels hanging floor to ceiling between the window divisions. You could match them to the color of the stripes or to a color in the rug, but the rug is incorrectly sized and you may want to use it elsewhere. Try the rug slipped under the edge of the sofa and the two chairs opposite it but not on the rug. The coffee table needs to be 18" from the sofa to be useful. Angle the chairs and try a ceramic garden stool for a table.

How about moving the rug closer to the sofa and putting the two chairs opposite the sofa for now then?
