Thank you for your interest! We designed the room to have outlets in the floor for the table lamps. Your builder/remodeler should be able to help you specify one thats will work well with your design plan. They electrical outlets that are put into floor are different than those put into walls.

I love Shale but I'm afraid it's a little dark. What would you suggest for a lighter gray/beige neutral? You have knocked Sarah Richardson out of the #1 spot on list as my favorite designer...your work is beautiful!

Thank you. I've used Balboa Mist trying to get a little more gray but it's too light (I feel like goldilocks...too dark, too light...)! Was thinking of testing Rodeo after I saw it in one of your rooms. Or revere pewter, coventry gray... Houzz is a blessing and a curse! :-) Thanks again for being so responsive and helpful. (Now if I could only afford some of the light fixtures you show!)
