Paint trim above the windows and front door. Add landscaping. More decorative trim at top of home. A structure to disguise the trash cans.

Thanks. What kind of landscaping would you suggest? There is an old coal gate leading to the basement under that first window. I would love to add decorative trim to the top. Unfortunately, that would require a hearing, architectural plans, etc. But it is a good idea. Some day...
