Wow, nice job! It's very neutral, you could go just about any color you'd like. What about picking up one of the colors in the three-tiered basket you have?

Thx. I was thinking a light sage green. Not sure how it will look with granite. The adjoining walls are an antique gold.

I would go with a cool color tone. Cool colors tend to recede and will give the illusion of an larger more open space. With the color choice of the walls now I feel the space is too cramped and with a cooler color would help open up the space. You could go with about any color as your color palette now with your cabinets, countertops and so forth aren't too strict and fall within the lines of a more neutral tone.

I'm not an expert, but I did something similar to my kitchen and I did a light blue on the kitchen wall, but I like the idea of a light green. Sherwin Williams has one called rainwashed, check and see if you like it. Then search for kitchens that have used it.

I would go with a cooler colour. It will help brighten up the space and make it feel more open. In fact it will also pop out the beautiful island you have in the centre.

I would go with darker warm color tone and create contrast with white cabinets.

If you don't have beige back splash you could go with darker grey tone, but because you already have a beige back splash i would go with darker warm color tone.

Anne, yes the color on the adjoining walls is very similar to the swatch.

Last night my husband sealed the tile with an 'enhancer sealer' and it made the tile dark and does not match at all now. Sadly, we are thinking about taking the new tile out and replacing it with something different to blend more with the cabinets and the granite. An expensive lesson..... The granite has a lot of grey, copper, black and white in it. Thanks for your suggestions everyone!

Agree with the earthy tones! I used to have a wall painted with a color called Bohemian Earth (I think it was Behr or Valspur). LOVED it! it was similar in tone to the color above on the left. It's not too brown and not too grey...just right!!
