Well, my step-sister hung her collection of barbed wire on a wall years ago... Do you have anything you collect that you could hang? Or put up shelves and display?

Actually, a long narrow table with something hung forward of the loveseat and a neat table lamp. A mirror or some contrasting art. The lamp could have a mercury base with a drum shade. I don't care for the loveseat being jammed against the wall. A ottoman/coffee table - 30/36" square.

Is this lounge configuration any better?

I think the feature wall is where your children's pix are. Move them to the dark wall, centering them at 5' above the floor to make the feature wall and the feature item work together.

One more sorry! What if I move the tv to the feature wall?

That's even better. You might try that striped piece of art from the foyer about 5" above the sofa on the light wall. It seems a little big for the foyer, but may be too small for here.

Much better...consider also moving your kids pics to the wall above the sofa.

i will see how the striped canvas looks above the sofa, i have a chrome arc floor lamp and a big silver clock that i was thinking of using on the feature wall? Now to get hubby to run the coax through the wall, the whole reason he didn't want any furniture moved.... oopsie lol

decoenthusiaste, now you have me thinking about the hallway..... Perhaps a nice pot with some mother in law tongue would do the trick... there already is a console table, stool and mirror opposite the striped canvas

Try the arc lamp behind the left side of the sofa on the light wall so it hovers above a coffee table if you have one.
