Are the beams angled?

Hi Eliza, are the tops of the beams angled to the roof slope with the t&g laid on top, or are the tops for the beams flat and the ceiling joists bird mouthed with the t&g attached from below and stopping at each beam? Thanks, Patrick

Great. Thank you. When the T&G is laid on top, isn't there a gap on the high side given that the top of the 4x is flat but the ceiling is sloped?
