I am building a new home this spring and want to keep the kitchen timeless. I know the current trend seems to be white cabinets for the kitchen with wood flooring. I am going with a lighter tile, will it make the kitchen too light? If I go to the classic wood cabinet, what wood do I choose for the cabinets to keep it current? I find I am transitional/ traditional with my choices. Also, I will be using granite or quartz for counter tops. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
