Hi, Christine. I think a plain in simple for the shower curtain would be a good look for the space. A white waffle weave for a little texture or flax colored linen blend are a couple that are inconspicuous enough that you might not tire of them too quickly. You could punch it up a bit with an interesting rug that runs the length of the main area. Think beyond the basic bath mat and look into dhurries and flat weaves - something special.

Rather than a towel bar in the toilet area, you could think about a piece of art on that wall to enliven it a little and bring in some color (if you're interested in that).



One thing that I think really makes an impact in a bath are fresh flowers and/or greenery. It just adds a little life.
