We have an open concept kitchen, living, dining room. We are putting in several can lights in the ceiling in the kitchen area and will have pendant lights over the island. In the living room there is an ceiling fan/light. There will be a patio door by the dining room table that lets lots of light in. I am not sure exactly where I want to position my table but just kind of out in the middle of everything. Do you think it's necessary to have a light over the table?
