We bought this home on Bainbridge Island as a first move to the northwest from the midwest. It has a mastersuite or apartment over the garage. The mastersuite can be connected to the main house IF we open the interior stairway. Currently, the house and apartment are rented. Next August, we plan to take over the apartment. The garden is huge and gorgeous. Access to Puget Sound is across the street and down Fairy Dell path. It was built in 1991. Very little has been done to this home since then, so it looks a little tired. To live in this house, we will have to remodel - extensively to make it into our only retirement home.
