Post new comments at beginning

Could you post new comments at the beginning of the feed so we don't have to scroll all the way to the end? Please?

At this time we do not have this function, but I'll definitely take your feedback to the rest of the team. Thanks!

No, no, no. Houzz has it correct!!! Linear is better, i.e. later posts shall be displayed at the bottom. Press the "end" key" to quickly scroll to the bottom. Houzz, been to other websites, you guys got it correct

Glschisler, thanks, that worked! Wonder why Jeannie didn't tell me that?

On Ipad, it also goes to last post if you tap on the actual last post wording! Little tricky, so you touch it correctly. (:

If anyone has a Samsung Galaxy Tab, you can quickly reach the latest comment by clicking the gray down arrow on the far right side of each dilemma. I can't believe it took me so long to figure it out--and my finger was really sore from all that scrolling! Laughing at myself!!

There's no way to do that on the Galaxy3 phone though, is there?
Hi, bsellers, I don't know...I see your question was posted 17 hours ago - have you figured it out yet? If not, let me know which browser you're using (the stock one, or one you downloaded from Google Play, i.e., Dolphin, Firefox). I love solving computer problems, so let me know please!

@cyndy, Hi! I'm using Chrome. Is that what you mean? Yep, it's really a long roll of finger swiping to get to the end. I'll never accomplish computers. I still find stuff about this phone that's about 3 years old now, I think. I thank you.

I know exactly what you mean, bsellers! I use my Tab on Houzz, but I have a Galaxy S2 cell - REALLY old! And yes, Chrome is exactly what I needed to know - I'll install it on my S2 and let you know what I figure out. Gotta be an easier way!

I don't ever want to upgrade! NAH! Forget about it! And have more to figure out??? Don't think so! LOL!
I do like Chrome though, BTW.

LOL, bsellers! But I LOVE computers and wish I had the $ to upgrade every time a newer version is released! And I was assuming you're using Chrome to get on Houzz and not the Houzz app - am I correct?
It's easiest for me to jump back in via my email. Then I can click on icon, name, etc. and go from there. The other way (app) is PIA

Ha, and I agree, bsellers - that's what I do too. I've been busy with other tasks for the last couple of hours (fibbing - I've been watching The Walking Dead and then The Talking Dead - not so secret vices!). Downloaded and installed Chrome - I'll check it out now.

Hi, bsellers, I've looked at Chrome's online Help and Chrome extensions, but I've come to the conclusion that there is no fix.

I know you like Chrome, and there's a learning curve for every new software app, but would you consider trying out the free version of the Puffin Web browser available on Google Play? I've had the paid version for a year or so and find that it loads quickly and is superior to the other browsers I've tried.

Possibly you could use it for Houzz only to enable you to quickly access the latest comment in the discussion and save your poor, tired, and callused fingers...if so, you only need to scroll down past the ads and discussions on the right side of each thread until you see the gray down arrow. When you want to go to the beginning of the thread, just start scrolling upward, and a gray up arrow will appear.

I have several browsers installed on each of my gadgets, but Puffin is the only one that has any sort of quick way to get to the beginning or the end of a web page. If you download it and decide you don't find it to be of value, simply uninstall it. It sure will make your Houzz browsing faster and gentler on your fingers though :)

How kind of you to give it a test drive and recommend one that does allow that. Also, you clarified that I don't think I've ever been able to do that on here even before Chrome. You're a sweetie. I don't watch Walking Dead but I sure hear about it! Lol! I'm hooked on The Good Wife.
Very similar programs, The Walking Dead and The Good Wife...I mean, they both do have the word "The" at the beginning of their names! LOL!!
:)) Cyndy, Does "The walking dead" = "The good wife"
    Too funny!
I'll have you know, I AM the walking dead.
Me too, bsellers! Stayed up way too late browsing Houzz last night :(

Curt, I don't think The Good Wife has too much in common with The Walking Dead - LOL! No good wives on TWD, unless there are some at Terminus, which I highly doubt!
    Say what?
Bsellers, just to explain, The Walking Dead is about people surviving the zombie apocalypse. The only "good wife" on the show died giving birth a couple of seasons ago. Though if Maggie and Glenn get married (haven't yet seen anyone marry since the apocalypse), we'd have a "good wife" again!

Sorry about not being able to find a fix for your Galaxy S3/Chrome browser. You need a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" (older generation, so great prices can be found on EBay).
Cool, thanks for the recommendation and explanation re Oooooohhh ZOMBIES!!! ( Are we 13 years old again? Lol! The whole country is watching this like it was Star Trek or something!)
Bsellers, I've really never gotten past my 13 year old self, and that was more than 4 decades ago! My dad loved old horror movies, and he initiated me early in life...I still love good horror! But, oh, to actually be 13 again...
I can remember when Star Trek was first on. My sister was glued to it. If we were at the mall, we'd just leave her in Sears at the televisions, then come back around when we were finished in other stores. Of course, ppl would never leave their kids anywhere now for several reasons but that was then and I'm glad I lived in those better times. (That was before Best Buy or hhgregg!) Sears was where ppl shopped for TV's. NO WAY YOU ARE IN YOUR 50'S, Cyndy. No way.
It does seem like its the baby boomers watching Walking Dead the most. Maybe because we stay home more???

OMG, bsellers, me too - to EVERYTHING you said! Sears was THE go-to, hot store :) And I feel sad for our kids today. Some parents won't even let their kids go trick-or-treating anymore! I have many happy Halloween memories, running from house to house in the orange pumpkin disguise (lol) my mom made me!

My wild days are long over, and I've also noticed that a lot of boomers watch TWD, but my 13 and 16 year old nephews love it too.

I can't believe it either, but somehow, I managed to make it to age...wait for it...60! Even I can't believe it (until I look in the mirror!). I remember being 16 and hearing "Never trust anyone over 30." I get a kick out of that now!
