Need help deciding on color palette for our home!

We've lived here for 10 yrs now, and have never painted. I'd love to warm up the place a bit, but can't decide what direction to go. We do live in a HOA community in an Atlanta Suburb, so I'm stirring away from really bright colors. I don't really commit to a style for the interior, its really just whatever I like. I'd love to here your ideas.

Would you consider replacing the siding with cedar shake? Notice no boxy hedges;)))))

Your home is beautiful as is, and I think you would have a hard time finding other colors that go so well with the look of the home.

Maybe a more darker taupe. Spend your energy taking out the boxy hedges ;)

It is a lovely home. I would paint the siding portion a greige color (a little darker and less yellow) Maybe something like a shade in one of the lighter bricks. I would then paint my shutters & front door a dark red like Ben Moore Country Redwood. I would also paint the vent in the highest peak the same dark red color.

Margo, you are so right. The hedges are awful. Barbara, would the trim be stay white or take on the greige color in your vision? Hayley, this is probably the hardest thing I've had to do so far.

I would leave the trim white because your windows are white. Maybe the surface of the 4 peak trims could be the siding color, but the rest could be white because it is very limited.

What a beautiful home! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a white siding and black shutters. Classic, clean and with a bit of color in the landscaping it has oodles of curb appeal :)

Here's a picture of a similar elevation. I love this because its warm, but my brick is a little darker than this example.

Thanks Margo, no i had not considered changing the siding. (Yes, landscaping is next on the list)
