Hello design experts,

I have a mid-century house (eichler, if you know the word). I just started my kitchen remodel. Some cabinets from IKEA look really good (like the ones here: ), but people told me that IKEA cabinets are not solid wood??

I also looked at this kitchen in the showroom of a local kitchen store: http://www.kzkitchencabinet.com/index.php?m=Product&a=show&id=436&l=
and it's solid wood (only outside, inside is still plywood). But I'm not sure if this kitchen fits into an eichler.

Does non-solid wood make the house look cheap? Solid or non-solid, which is more preferable?
