I'm finishing up a living room and dining room wainscoting project. The wainscot is stick-built, and painted in Behr ultra pure white with a satin sheen. The space gets a lot of natural light with windows facing the north and south.

What matte color should I paint the wall above the wainscot. I love the Benjamin Moore Historic Collection colors and like the idea that the colors are inspired by "documented" 18th and 19th century colors. I was thinking a gray-blue or gray-green color.

What pet-friendly flooring should I consider?
