We live in a traditional colonial in the Northeast and need to update our dining room. I finally took down the window treatments that the previous owner left behind!
I am planning on keep the rug and furniture for now but will have the chairs reupholstered.
I'm having a really hard time deciding on chandelier. Our china is white w/ a silver rim so I would like to do a chrome (shiny silver look). I am planning on getting plantation shutters on the window- top and bottom- really need them for privacy.
For the walls I LOVE Ben Moore Wickham Gray, and am having wainscotting done on the bottom and will paint that and trim Decorators White.
I'm also really torn on the upholstery fabric for the chairs. Someone recommended waiting until the room is painted to decide on fabric.
